All countries offer a student visa to foreign students to facilitate carrying out full time studies. The students are normally permitted to work for up to 15 or 20 hours per week part time in order to finance their studies. However, permission is formally required to engage in a job.

1. Academic Requirements
FOR UNDERGRADUATE PROGRAMS
The result of high school grade is considered. The student should have first division or second higher division in the high school or appropriate A level or IB. However, lower grades are acceptable with additional qualifications/Work experience.
2. FOR POST GRADUATE DEGREE PROGRAMS
Students need have to score a higher second division in their Bachelors but some Universities accept lower marks when students have other professional qualification and good relevant work experience.
- For MBA programs most colleges demand good Undergraduate degree along with relevant work experience varying 2-3 years.
- Some Universities in UK design fresher’s MBA program which are suitable for students who do not have work experience.
- Most UK Universities and Colleges provide Scholarships/Bursaries on almost all the courses provided apply on time.
4. ENGLISH REQUIREMENTS

5. VISA CATEGORY 2
Students who are going to study in TAFE Colleges or institutions which are not participating in the Streamline Visa Processing for courses like Certificates/Diploma’s/Advanced Diploma
- 18 months funds for tuition and living expense to be shown for 2 year courses.
- Funds should be 3 months old.
- Visa Processing time 90 days.

1. Academic Requirements
- For diploma courses you need to score between 60 -70% in Class XII and for Bachelor’s degrees a minimum score of 75% in XII. Those interested in graduate diploma programs need a minimum score of 55% in their bachelor’s degrees. To pursue masters you would need a minimum score of 60% with relevant work experience in the same field.
2. English Requirements
- Most Australian universities insist upon a minimum IELTS score of 5.5 for Diploma courses, 6.0 for bachelors and 6.5 for Master's programmes.
3. Visa Requirements
- Good Academic Grades
- Good IELTS Score
- Proof of the proper finances
4. VISA CATEGORY 1: SVP- STREAMLINE VISA PROCESSING
A new visa category from March 24, 2012 places those students having offer letter from participating universities under the Streamlined Visa Process (SVP) category.
Under this category following changes have been done.
- Fast Visa processing usually within 3 weeks.
- All applicants should submit a COE (Confirmation of Enrolment) at the time of visa file lodgment. This applies to both paper visa and e-visa.
5. VISA CATEGORY 2

Undergraduate Courses
- Bachelor : 60% & 6.5 Bands, no band less than 6.0
- MBA : 60% & 6 .5 Bands, no band less than 6.0
- GMAT is also required for MBA by most of the universities.
